Teen Pottery

Dusty Road Pottery offers classes to teens with little or no experience thru advanced. Beginners will learn a variety of pottery making techniques, including the potter’s wheel and will simply explore the wonderful medium – clay.  Student’s who have worked with clay before and wish work more in depth on their own ideas, may do so here. Students can also get help developing their portfolios.

This 4-week class is for high school students who would like to give pottery a try for the first time and for those students who just want more time to experiment with clay.

Whatever you’re skill level, try out this class to develop ideas using both hand building techniques and the potter’s wheel. Glazing and the kiln firing process will also be taught.
